Donna Elanor

Original Sounds, Traditional Roots

Fiddler, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Donna Elanor has been performing in bands, small ensembles, theatrical productions, and as a soloist in the Baltimore-Washington area since 2008. She released her debut solo fiddle album, Changeling, in 2025, featuring over 20 original compositions and songs steeped in Celtic and old time influences.

Winner of the 2022 Deer Creek Fiddler's Convention Vocal Competition, she has performed at Renaissance, Celtic, and Folk festivals throughout Maryland and Virginia, including the Washington Folk Festival and the Maryland Renaissance Festival.

A folk violinist trained in both Classical and Celtic styles, she also plays bouzouki, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and viola.

Donna has repertoire and attire for modern Celtic and folk performances, as well as themes including Renaissance, fairy, and pirate, and historical eras including Colonial , Regency, and Victorian eras.
